Speaking of family…

This past weekend, our son, Zachary, graduated from Chapman University with degrees in Finance and Accounting, as a student athlete. We are very proud of his accomplishments and excited for him to start his career in finance with an investment advisory firm in Orange County.

Here is his surprise epic selfie photo after he received his degree. Bold move!

Entrepreneurship and numbers. My friend Dave Ashworth and co-founder of shares his story of Quantify, shares his success solving a familiar problem. A successful owner manages their business via their checking account; but not really knowing whether they have a profit.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – Push Up Challenge:

During the month of May, I have participated in a 3,000 push up challenge to raise money for St. Jude. As of this writing, I am at 8,500 with the goal of hitting 10,000 by the book launch. Great way to relieve the stress. :)

More importantly, I am donating $2 for every book sold during the month of May up to 500 books, including the $.99 e-book option. After this, we will continue our 10% donations from net proceeds.

So the moral of the story is, buy a book for the kids, starting May 24th at 4:30 pm Pacific Time.
