Introduction:
I missed my deadline to write this week’s Strategy 4 Saturday blog. It is already Saturday morning and I had about 4 different ideas swimming around in my head. I was supposed to have this completed on Groundhog’s Day, Friday, February 2nd. As a blog author, you may feel like Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog Day, here we go again. Bill Murray’s classic quote, “I have been stabbed, shot, poisoned, frozen, hung, electrocuted and burned.” Therefore, I was thinking, how can I do it (Google Duet) differently this time, because I am not immortal. But there is AI. You can Duet….
Good news, Punxsutawny Phil predicted an early spring and as they say, “Hope Springs Eternal”. Today, I decided to try an experiment. I was going to learn a whole new AI tool and write a blog in less than 59 minutes. Of note, it typically takes me 3 hours to write a blog.
Inspired by a recent article, Ethan Mollick showed how he could launch a product, write a market research report, and create on-trend designs, a PowerPoint, and a syllabus, all at the same time. He did it in 59 seconds. I was inspired by Mollick’s article and decided to try to do something similar using Duet.
The Experiment:
I started the experiment at 8:21 AM on a Saturday morning.
I had already collected my last 10 blog posts so that I could write in my own style. The Google Doc link was simply copied into the prompt.
I opened Google Duet and started writing in the prompt. I was surprised at how easy it was to use. The interface is very intuitive, and the writing assistant was very helpful.
I was able to write, review, and modify the entire blog post in just 62 minutes. Missed my target by 3 minutes, not bad. I was very impressed with the initial results, and it saved me nearly 2 hours. This included trying a new AI tool. So easy, a caveman can do it, so to speak. You can Duet….
The Results:
Surprise, you are reading part of the results. Duet dictated in my style, and it was well-written and informative. It was also easy to read. I am very happy with the results of the experiment. I did make several edits after the prompt results, which took the majority of the time finishing the article.
For some reason, I was unable to create an image in Google Duet. Therefore, I went to ChatGPT 4.0 which now creates images to provide this coffee shop picture.
This is just another example of how AI can be a very powerful tool that can help small businesses save time and money. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a way to improve their writing to give Duet a try. You can Duet…
Conclusion:
Tools like ChatGPT, Google Duet are easy to use and can help you write better blog posts, articles, and other content. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a way to improve their writing and marketing efforts to give AI a try.
Interesting Fact:
Small businesses are using AI to save time and money. A recent study by McKinsey & Company found that small businesses that use AI are more likely to be profitable than those that don’t. You can Duet…

Well, not so fast.
If you *are* a CEO or entrepreneur, you probably already know this isn’t the case.
