The Business of Raising a Family

As a father of four, our hope is that our children will be able to maximize their potential and contribute more to society than they’re taking away from it.

Each of them have taken different paths. My oldest Ashley daughter is a sixth grade teacher, Zach is a financial analyst. Tyler is getting ready to graduate from the US Naval Academy to become a pilot, and Abby is studying business and playing college soccer.

In my years of managing different businesses and owning different companies, my kids have rarely been involved. However, all of that changed this past week.

Our firm 40 Accounting has been growing and we need great people to meet our clients needs.

The Announcement

I’m very excited to announce that Zach has officially joined 40 Accounting. He will be pursuing his CPA and helping to grow value for our clients.

He’s already off to a great start and able to provide skills that he learned over the past six years from college internships, and his previous employer and apply the grit that he experienced from college football.

Zach, welcome to the team, and although I never expected to have one of my children work directly for one of my companies, I’m so grateful for this opportunity.

Turbulent Times

As mentioned last week, we believe there’s no more important time now to find yourself the right partners to help get you through turbulent times. They can also help you thrive in any environment. Scott Ballard is one of those people.

Scott has not only had personal success, growing his business from the kitchen countertop to over 4000 employees, but he’s also been a trusted coach and speaker for hundreds of different companies.

To learn more, I encourage you to send Scott a LinkedIn message or email him. And check out Confidence Coach now.
